In Hearts Wake sind schon seit 2006 im Geschäft. Mit DIVINATION und ihrem letzten Werk EARTHWALKER positionierten sich die Jungs zusammen mit Northlane als große Hoffnung aus Australien. Ihr neustes Album SKYDANCER ist thematisch das passende Gegenstück zu ihrem vorherigen Album und so schafft sich die Band ihr eigenes Magnum Opus, welches Fans und Kritiker gleichermaßen überzeugt. Mit Blick für das große Ganze beweisen die Jungs, dass sie wie keine zweite Band sind.

When In Hearts Wake released their second album “Earthwalker” in May 2014, they knew that it was time to step it up - not just musically, but also in terms of spreading their message and putting their money where their mouth is. In an effort to counteract the effect global warming is having on Australia’s natural flora and fauna, In Hearts Wake joined forces with Carbon Neutral – a carbon solutions provider and bio-diverse reforestation developer that helps organisations and individuals minimise their impact on the environment by measuring, reducing and offsetting greenhouse gas emissions. The partnership saw them use income from the album sales plant a native tree for every album pre-ordered via their website.
The initiative saw them plant thousands of tree on their way to a #5 Album Chart position in their homeland of Australia, where the band has broken through in a massive way in 2014. They graced the cover of leading alternative magazine Blunt, received high rotation on Triple J’s radio network for their single “Divine” and have sold out their entire “Earthwalker” national tour. And they did it all on their own terms - with a strong message and a willingness to give back to their community.
