Mix verbaut.

Colair.FM - 06.06.11 (guest mix by DJ W!LD)

Rising up to take his place as king of the underground, DJ W!LD opens the doors to ‘Palace’, his debut artist album that is bursting with raw layers of funk and pure jacking beats and perfectly captures the infectious sound he is renowned for.

Guillaume Duchastel de Montrouge, aka DJ W!LD, is part of the infamous Cocoon agency and the newest resident at Circo Loco in DC10, joining last year alongside names such as Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones. The past 2 years have marked a swift comeback for W!LD, a longtime producer and International DJ that made his mark for being elusive, unpredictable, and truly underground.

Heavily involved in hip-hop and graffiti trends and street culture, his DJ W!LD alias is wink to the cult motion picture "Wild style", a portrait of graffiti pioneers to an authentic soundtrack of late 70's hip hop New Yorkers. Born in 1975, his journey into music started in the 80's in French town Dijon, where he was immersed in a world of funk, disco, and groovy beats. In the early 90's, Laurent Garnier appeared on the Dijon scene with his residency at L'Enfer and initiated the first steps of a new rave culture in the hexagon. Deeply touched by this revolution and the music of the godfathers of Detroit techno and Chicago house, W!LD
discovered his future musical route.

Gathering the force of a tornado. ‘Palace’ conveys DJ W!LD’s enthusiastic spirit and perpetual momentum to master his craft and reach the top of his game. Today's Colair.FM guest mix is a homage to his new 'Palace' album. Listen and you want to have it!

Colair.FM - 01.08.11 (guest mix by Jordan Peak)

The youngster was raised amidst stacks of 12” vinyl and surrounded by house music from his earliest days. This extremely promising newcomer to the dance music scene was well schooled in the art of groove long before he started making music himself.

Focusing on low slung house music full of swing and swagger, Jordan has a knack for creating raw analogue charm and already encompasses a growing spectrum of sounds. Currently in the midst of a speedy ascent through the production ranks, his output already includes an intriguing set of releases, for a UK act, on labels such as Robsoul, Raum...Musik, Saved and Tsuba. This is quite an introduction to music making, considering that Jordan only released his first record in late 2009. His latest release is called 'Low Ride EP' on One Records.

And so it is, Ladies and Gents, the next 60 minutes belongs to Jordan Peak. Presenting twelve grooving tracks in the mix. Whoooaaaa!

Colair.FM - 05.09.11 (guest mix by DJ Bolth)

Colair.FM on air with a mission to distribute the sounds of yet unknown and yet undiscovered talents. Keep an eye on Tunisia for DJ Bolth who contributes 60 minutes of today`s show. On my way through the jungle of music on Facebook I came across the sounds of DJ Bolth. Soon I got in contact and found out about the man, his music and his ambitions.

Four years ago Bolth started as a DJ mixing various genres of music. After a phase of finding himself and letting the soul go, he felt mostly influenced by Tech House and Deep - especially the downtempo sounds are the ones of interests. Bolth has plans and wants to reach the people with working on his own music, producing and performing live.

Enjoy listening and have fun with sounds from north Africa smile.gif
